Marseille, Le Panier - 2010
This was shot tonight in my street - as you can see my street is not so esthetic these days ! It's because we have a garbage strike going on here in Marseille since almost a week and the garbage mountains are beginning to spill everywhere and it's taking such a proportion that it's also starting now to blocking the streets. On saturday some people put the fire at some trashes there and there (and in my street too) ! The only good news is that it's cold outside and the "mountains" doesn't smell that bad yet, - but soon it will as the temperature is getting warmer now...Maybe it's the last days because finally the strike took an end this week-end and so these beautiful trash mountains will soon leave the urban landscape..well I hope it will soon ;)
