Beautiful, soft light and muted tones. The calm, eerie mood I get from this shot. Sean @ 2008-07-25 06:36:42
Jonas @ 2008-07-25 15:57:55
Love the muted colors, beautiful shot! Ashish Sidapara @ 2008-07-25 20:49:59
Love the soft colors. Somehow I imagine that these tree trunks are much larger than they appear. Marcie @ 2008-07-25 21:07:24
I think these may be the woods that Little Red Riding Hood had to walk through:-) Love the title, the trees, and the possibilities of imagination enfolded within this image. sherri @ 2008-07-26 06:22:36
Very nice picture. I like the force in these large trunks, with these delicate greenish colours. Nice shot Denis @ 2008-07-26 23:08:08
Things are always best in THREES, nice shot here. Love the neutral colors. Brian @ 2008-07-26 23:19:09
C'est tres beau ça..le pied des arbres est aussi interessant que leurs cîmes.. ;);) flo g @ 2008-07-27 05:07:09
Really like this framing - works so well.
Love all of the verticle lines. Ian @ 2008-07-27 15:31:06
Great composition and colours. Wolfgang Burzler @ 2008-07-27 17:52:07
The muted color and heaviness of the trees creates a serious, slightly oppresive mood. A strong image. daina @ 2008-07-27 18:39:49
great color and tones set
good compo too

Nice tones. The trees seem to be competing for root space. They're so close to each other. Jim @ 2008-07-31 20:37:47
Convincing picture of a forest. Good muted colors and careful hinting to the structure of the trees. A quiet working picture. Markus @ 2008-08-01 08:57:02
Completely agree with Sean! Ásgarðr @ 2008-08-02 17:21:44

Le calme qui se dégage de l'image en opposition avec l'aspect erratique des écorces, je vois les pieds d'un géant mythologique... Superbe SwissCharles phototherapy @ 2008-08-06 12:06:14
Beautiful image. My monitor does not do this artwork justice. rick @ 2008-08-10 05:10:29
Very nice! I like what trees tell us about sustainability. When living from a forest you never will harvest what you are sowing but you harvest from the last generation and sow for the next. Robert @ 2008-08-12 17:48:48
I like the softness of the tones in the picture. Nicely done ! Denis @ 2008-08-16 16:39:48
this is beautifull. i like the natural colors and deep contrast. dillonpic @ 2008-08-18 18:50:01
Pretty nice site, wants to see much more on it! :) John Williams @ 2008-08-21 10:22:00
Again, it's your midtones that do it for me. Ren Bostelaar @ 2008-08-23 05:50:37

There is great dignity and power in this subtle image. Really mpressive. GJC @ 2008-08-27 02:49:58
Love the composition and the way you framed this shot, looks so mystical. John Maslowski @ 2008-08-27 04:09:35
Superb composition and tones. Great shot! LGB @ 2008-09-11 15:38:12
looks like a painting.
i love the few colors and the desaturated backgrund.
gorgeous! paolo @ 2008-09-14 12:16:40
Nice textures. Muted colors worked great here as ir emphasizes textures and composition. Rafael Perrone @ 2008-09-23 00:33:51
i imagine myself very small amongst these trees, like alice. kari mik @ 2008-10-17 14:09:04
I love Trees... can any other being be as much positive as beneficial and good to world and living than Trees...? and without claiming any rights or possession and taking or wanting anything for the good that they are doing to world... I love Trees, and this is a very nice shot of Trees, some considerably old Trees... the division of light and shadow between them is magnificent... :) I also liked the desaturated color tones... nice work... :) Kaveh Saffari @ 2009-02-21 00:03:23
